Vertical Connect is a Information Technology services company specialising in providing services to Vertical Markets, specifically Medical and Veterinary.
Vertical Connect has been in business for over 20 years and has a proven track record of delivering innovative, practical, efficient and cost effective I.T. solutions to these markets.
Tony De Keizer founded Vertical Connect in 1984 and continues to be the principle consultant of the business. Tony has Masters of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and has considerable I.T. experience in the medical and veterinary domains. Tony developed the Unix based Netmed Medical Management System in 1984 and the Netvet Veterinary Management System in 1987. Both systems were innovative and reliable with the Netvet system still being actively used by over 50 Veterinary practices in Australia and New Zealand.
Tony has also provided software design and consulting services to some of the major software vendors in these industries. As the second part of our name suggests are approach is to act as a connection or conduit between you and the I.T. industry. Dealing with many vendors in the I.T. industry can be very frustrating as often they do not fully understanding your business needs or are unaware or unconcerned with what you are trying to achieve with your Information Systems. Unless they are well managed, I.T. projects can end up soaking up a considerable amount of time, costing significantly more than anticipated and delivering only minor benefits to your business. Vertical Connect acts as an extension of your business to manage the design and implementation of your Information Systems.
We are NOT a software or hardware provider and we have no links to any specific hardware or software company. This allows us to provide objective advice, as well as work with existing or recommended hardware, software and service suppliers. We manage these providers to deliver successful I.T. projects.
Our founding principles are based on excellent service, ethical business practice and delivery of real business benefit to our customers. We are open, honest and trustworthy as we are looking for long term relationships not just short term gains. We charge fairly for the services and we deliver these services professionally and efficiently. We do not charge you to learn our skills. We seek to not only deliver excellent service but also knowledge into your business.
